Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick Review: Shade: ‘Rossetto’ 105

Hey Guys!

I’ve narrated my story on how I stumbled across Rimmel Counter in DLF Noida and here’s what I ended up picking. I was actually looking out for “Coral Garden” in their Moisture Renew range but they didn’t have it in that shade. So the lady presented, offered to show me their Kate Moss range. Currently, I am into soft n*de shades and this colour was what pleased me the most. I got it swatched on my hand, got a nod from my friend, and it went straight for billing.

Rossetto” is a soft brown with pinkish undertones and slight shimmers. The packaging is quite appealing. The texture of the lipstick, omg, is so gorgeously smooth that it glides like butter on the lips. It is moisturizing and does not dry out the lips. Post application, it sets into semi-matte texture, with intense moisture. Shimmer present in this lipstick isn’t visible on application. It would definitely suit fair to medium skin tone, especially for work place or n*de lipstick lovers. It is a shade darker than ‘my lips but better’ colour. It does transfer to an extent, which was slightly disappointing. The staying power of this lipstick is somewhere between 2-3 hours and it does fade away if you take snacks or meal.

It retails at INR 275 for net weight of 4 grams.
