HIMALAYA COCOA BUTTER INTENSE BODY LOTION

Hey Guys!!

It’s been a long week. I don’t know why but I’ve started to get something of a cervical pain, but when I asked a Homeopathic doctor, he said that such an illness does not happen at such an early age. I’d get it checked in the second Saturday of this month and hope it vanishes soon.

This week I believe was quite productive and inspiring. I felt the need to keep blogging, besides; certain friends whom I thought weren’t interested in talking to me anymore, seemed to show interest this week. Gonna wait for Monday to see if this persists or not.

Today I shall be reviewing the “Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion”. Firstly, I’d tell you a little about my skin. My hands and the legs are most dried up places that I’ve ever seen! The Vaseline Body lotion never managed to keep them moisturized, which made me think that perhaps there isn’t any drugstore moisturizer available in Indian markets that can quench the thirst of my fried up skin. No matter if its winters or summers, my skin is always dry, in winters it might also get slightly flaky.

This Body lotion comes in a white flip top plastic bottle. The packaging claims that it contains Cocoa Butter and Wheat Germ. It is meant for ‘extra dry skin’. The product comes at the M.R.P. of Rs 80 for net volume of 100 ml. What I liked the most about it is its heavenly cocoa fragrance. In fact this fragrance lingers on for 4-6 hours. Plus, it seriously keeps my skin moisturized while even the Coconut and Sunflower oil failed to serve that purpose. But on days when my skin got extremely dry, I felt the need of re-application within 2-3 hours. Yet I’d say this is the only lotion which comparatively still kept my arms moisturized. I had used the Vaseline variants earlier and wasn’t quite happy with them and I’d assumed that perhaps my hands would make me look much older than I really am.   *LOL*

RATING- 4 out of 5

P.S. I’ve recently realized that even males are subject to mood swings. God save the universe!
