Miss Claire Glimmerstick for Eyes

Image
(Tahitian Blue E-07)

Summer is the time when you can experiment with variety of colors (especially bright ones). There are days when you get monotonously bored of the same old black liner/kajal. Ditch away those and stock up on colorful liner pencils. There are varieties of these available in markets, for example by Lakme Iconic range and Maybelline Colossal.

Miss Claireproducts are made by Eureka Cosmo Private Limited, in Mumbai. This is the reason, that many of its products aren’t easily available in Delhi. “Impressions Cosmetics Store in Karol Bagh (New Delhi) is said to have Miss Claire products. I have been searching every local store near my place for their products, because even though I live in Delhi, Karol Bagh is still far away from my place. I even sent out an email to the id that is mentioned on this ‘glimmer-stick’, but they never replied.

Getting onto the review, my friends, if you ever end up encountering Miss Claire products, grab at first sight! But do not be fooled by …

Maybelline Colorshow Nail paint (Chrome Pink & Devil Wears Prada)

Image
I have literally taken pictures for this review thrice! Once, the color wasn’t coming as it is in real, another time I noticed that in pictures my nail-paint can be seen a little messed up, and then finally it came out fine.

The weather in Delhi is hardly stable. Sometimes its cloudy, sometimes there’s full bloom of sun rays. Ironically, from the window you feel- “Oh no, the sun rays are too much for me to go out” and when you go out there is too much of glaring sun, yet cool breezes flowing. Weather in Delhi is in dilemma (LOL).

Today, I shall be reviewing MAYBELLINE COLORSHOW NAILPAINTS in the shade- 009 and 012. 009- CHROME PINK 012- DEVIL WEARS PRADA These nail-paints are priced at Rs 85 for net volume of 6 ml.

CHROME PINK-
Chrome Pinkis light pink shade which has finely ground glitter into it. With one swipe, the color remains sheer. You have to layer it with two to three swipes to intensify the color and make it opaque.
There is one con with this shade. It might not suit all skin tones…

Janpath is a flea market where you can get tops and other clothing pieces for Rs 100 to Rs 500. If Sarojini Nagar is quite far from your place, then you can go to Janpath which is like a mini version of Sarojini Nagar market. One difference between the two markets is that in Janpath the clothes displayed are washed and ironed, unlike in Sarojini. Nowadays, sellers in these flea markets have started quoting Rs 500 to Rs 800 fo…

Nose Piercing Experience!!

Image
I kept tossing and turning while sleeping last night, thinking what I should post about that would be slight different than the usual reviews. Since I am also in a chattering mood today, I am going ahead to narrate you my nose piercing experience. If you want to read more of such experiences posts, then leave your feedback down in comments box. :)

As a young me, I always detested the idea of getting my nose pierced. I somehow felt it isn’t going to suit me. One thing which made me wonder with all those nose pierced ladies was how come they manage when they get cold or does that nose pin hurt inside while you sleep? My sister is a complete opposite in such things. In fact she got her ear pierced at an early age without the consent of mum and after which she came home telling- “Maa, that man needs to be payed.” LOL Even for nose piercing, she insisted on getting one while my dad was like- “Who wears nose pins these days.” (Yes, our dad gives us multiple weird reasons which are completely r…

L'oreal Infalliable 6 Hour Lip Gloss

Image
Hello Ladies! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend; and those who are bored, are surely welcome to this blog :)

Today I am going to review L’oreal Paris Infalliable 6 Hour Lip Gloss in the shade- ‘Petal’. Shade number of Petal is 105. First of all, what caught my eyes was the 6 hour claim that the company made. I am not a big fan of lip glosses, especially in summers, because I sweat a lot; plus who wants something sticky on their lips when it’s hot as hell! After a long battle in my mind, I finally decided to pick it up, so as to review this for all you guys out there.

Coming straight to the packaging, it has a weird shape which converges in between like the waist of an attractive female (LOL). The lip gloss bottle is made of tough plastic and has a metallic reflecting lid which works perfectly as a mirror (until it gets its share of scratches). I didn’t happen to notice that the lid can be used in such a manner, until; I read the top of it which says- “mirror underneath”. It comes …

Dove Hair Therapy Daily Shine Shampoo

Image
Dove Hair Therapy Daily Shine Shampoo has Nutritive serum which absorbs into the hair strand, keeping it beautifully moisturized and shiny. It is a part of the Dove Nutritive Solutions range. Dove is marketed by Hindustan Unilever Limited. It retails for Rs 75 for 80 ml of net content.

I, honestly stay clear away from Dove shampoo or conditioners. Dove is highly renowned for moisturizing hair products; and I have fine hair. Their shampoos itself weigh down my hair making them limp. They give commendable softness but they make my already thin hair volume-less. I usually avoid conditioners as well, or if I use them, it’s only once a weak.
P.S. On second day, it horribly reduced my pony tail volume!!

Heading back to the review, this shampoo comes in a plastic white bottle which has larger bottom but the bottle narrows down as we reach its flip top lid. The fragrance is like that which you find in every Dove toiletry. This fragrance lingers even after first day of hair wash. It makes your h…

Elle 18 Color Pops Liptick

Image
When you enter the world of lipsticks, the most basic colors you look out for are pink and red. These two colors are good enough for completing the vanity of a beginner. Now, as a beginner you do not go straight ahead to buy high end lipsticks. Initially, you look out for budget friendly options to see what color suits you. Elle 18 is one of the pocket friendly brands which target basically the beginners. This is an Indian cosmetic brand. The Elle 18 color pop lipsticks are completely affordable.  They retail for Rs 120. Net weight of this lipstick is 4.3 ml.

Elle 18 Color pop lipstick comes in a jet black plastic case. It has hints of pink onto it and an animated Gothic girl is drawn on the same. One thing that I noted was that the cap of these lipsticks would easily open as soon as they fall. Unfortunately, such an accident would make the content vulnerable to shatter. Though, the plastic is not very high grade, yet it isn’t too flimsy or breakable. After several months the detailing…
